About our Classes!

Classes are stand alone and are not attached to any workshop or academy

If classes do not meet the minimum enrollment, those who registered will be notified and refunded

Half of tuition is due at the time of registration.  The second half is due the day the class begins

If you withdraw before the class begins, 1/2 of tuition is refundable.  After the class begins, no refunds will be offered. 

With the exception of the Audition Prep class, adults are not permitted in the studio once class has begun. 

You can watch through the windows, or relax if the Lobby if you prefer. 

Classes do not receive tshirts, costumes or other "show" related items. 

Class materials may be handed out depending on the type of class.

Tap Classes

Beginning Tap

Ages 8-18

In beginning tap, students will learn the fundamental steps through choreographed dances and across the floor instruction.

In intermediate/advanced tap, students will build upon existing skills to master more complex choreography. 

Tap shoes are a required item for this class.

Acting for the Camera

Eight Week Session

This class is designed for students interested in learning more about the technique behind on-camera work. Through a series of practical exercises, students will develop essential skills for on-camera work, including:

Auditioning Techniques: Learn how to prepare for auditions, create memorable characters, and deliver impactful monologues.

Camera Presence: Understand the nuances of performing for the camera, including eye contact, body language, and voice projection.

Character Development: Explore character analysis, backstory creation, and emotional expression to bring depth to your performances.

Scene Study: Analyze and perform scenes from various scripts, honing your ability to interpret and portray different roles.

Industry Insights: Gain valuable knowledge about the entertainment industry, including casting processes, agents, and networking opportunities.

Students will end the class with at least one filmed monologue or scene that they can use as part of their reel.

Pop Rock Vocals

Eight Week Class Session

This dynamic class is designed for singers of all levels who want to master the art of pop and rock vocals. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced vocalist, you'll learn essential techniques to enhance your vocal range, power, and expression. Students will learn:

Vocal Technique: Develop strong vocal fundamentals, including breath control, posture, and vocal exercises to improve your range and tone.

Performance Skills: Learn stage presence, microphone technique, and how to connect with your audience.

Song Interpretation: Explore different styles of pop and rock music, learning how to interpret lyrics and convey emotion through your singing.

Repertoire Development: Build a diverse repertoire of songs that suit your vocal range and style.

Advanced Improv

This advanced improv class is for teens who have a solid foundation in acting and are eager to push their creative boundaries. You'll delve into character development, scene work, and long-form improvisation, while exploring your creativity and spontaneity. Students will learn:

Character Development: Create complex and nuanced characters, exploring their backstories, motivations, and quirks.

Scene Work: Master the art of scene work, building dynamic and engaging scenes with your fellow improvisers.

Spontaneity and Quick Thinking: Develop the ability to think on your feet and respond to unexpected situations.

Creative Problem-Solving: Learn to overcome challenges and find innovative solutions.

Self-Expression and Confidence: Break out of your comfort zone, build self-esteem, and embrace your unique voice.

This exciting class is perfect for kids who love to laugh, create, and perform. Through a series of fun and engaging games, exercises, and improvisational scenes, kids will learn:

Creativity and Imagination: Develop their ability to think quickly and creatively, coming up with ideas on the spot.

Confidence and Self-Expression: Overcome shyness and build self-assurance through performance and group activities.

Listening and Teamwork: Learn to actively listen to others, collaborate, and build strong relationships.

Communication Skills: Improve their ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively.

This hands-on class is designed for students who want to learn the ins and outs of putting on a play. From character development and blocking to rehearsals and performance, students will gain valuable experience in all aspects of the theatrical process.

Character Development: Explore character analysis, backstory creation, and emotional expression.

Rehearsal Process: Participate in regular rehearsals, focusing on blocking, line memorization, and character development.

Performance: Experience the excitement of performing on stage and receiving feedback from an audience.

Audition Prep

One Class

Class Size: 3 Students with an accompanying Adult

***Attending an audition prep class does NOT guarantee a speaking role in the production and is for the auditioner to have a confident, strong audition that they are proud of***

Classes are show specific unless otherwise noted.  For show specific classes, if singing from the orientation packet, you do not need to bring any materials. 

If not singing from the packet,  Students must come with a 16-32 bar cut of a song, and an accompaniment track on a phone or other playback device that can be plugged into the sound system

Weekday Evenings

This class is designed for students who want to prepare for upcoming auditions. In a small group setting (3 total students), students will receive individualized attention and guidance from a seasoned vocal coach.

Vocal Technique: Refine your vocal technique, focusing on breathing, projection, and resonance.

Character Interpretation: Develop a strong understanding of the character and the song's message.

Performance Coaching: Receive personalized feedback on your delivery, stage presence, and overall audition presentation.

Audition Preparation: Learn essential audition tips, including how to handle nerves and make a lasting impression.

Students will sign up for this one-time class and will attend with two other students. Students will perform in front of each other and learn from observing their classmates. Parents (particularly of younger students) are encouraged to attend to learn more about how to help their kids prep for auditions.
